Tanglewood Schedule

Lenox, MA

The New England Area's Most Iconic Outdoor Venue!

For more than 80 years, Tanglewood in Lenox, MA has been the Boston area's premier summer concert venue.  Named after a book by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Tanglewood was established as the seasonal home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1937, and the following year, a permanent structure, named the Shed and designed by Eliel Saarinen, was constructed.  In 1994, the Seiji Ozawa Hall was constructed for chamber music and other smaller shows.  Tanglewood is still a great place to see classical music, but now plenty of the biggest names in popular music include it on their tours — as one look at the venue's 2024 schedule below should confirm.
